MARY MCDONOUGH TO THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
A feature on UW gymnast Mary McDonough, one of just four athletes in the country to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the all-around, and the only one who had to get there alone. With the Huskies missing the regionals as a team, Mary stepped into the arena by herself. This video chronicles her early season struggles, the resilience she found along the way, and the belief shared by her and her coaching staff that her best was still ahead.

RAISING THE BAR: HANA & AMANDA MOLL
A feature on Amanda and Hana Moll, sophomore pole vaulters at the University of Washington and two of the top-ranked women's pole vaulters in the world. The video follows their journey from climbing trees in their Olympia backyard to competing on the national and international stage. I conducted interviews with both athletes and their coaches, Toby Stevenson and Tim Reilly, the piece explores their shared competitive drive, the unique dynamic of being elite twin athletes, and the people who shaped their rise.
API HERITAGE MONTH: SAMIAH SHELL
A feature on Samiah Shell, a first-generation college student and student-athlete at the University of Washington. I conducted interviews with both her and the Head Women’s Soccer coach Nicole Van Dyke and learned how she balances academics, family expectations, and athletic ambition while pursuing a degree and breaking new ground for her family.
